"Then Jesus began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent." Matthew 11.20

It is amazing when Jesus does his mighty works on a country, a city, or a family. But it does not mean then we can do whatever we want. We must repent and not let his blessings be our god.

We must keep striving to be like Jesus and we must never relent.

Let us "lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus". Hebrews 12.1-2
