"And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith." Matthew 21.22 ESV

But what kind of "faith" do I need to have? And how do I build this kind of "faith"? What are the signs that I have attained it?

Must I ask in "prayer"? How do I "ask in prayer" correctly so what I ask aligns with God's will?

This reminds me of the iterative method, how we build up something using an initial understanding and keep improving iteratively.

Such is faith. We all start with an initial understanding and faith when we decide to follow the Lord.

We ask in prayer. Sometimes we get what we ask for and other times not. We pray some more and read the Bible and improve our understanding and faith.

And iterate. Again and again.

Faith grows with prayer and prayer gets closer to God's will as the faith grows.
