When we use internet social media platform, how do we interact in it? Why do we do what we do on social media?

When we gather with family or friends, what do we brag about? Why?

Is it because we want to look good and be admired by others?

From a lifetime of conditioning and habits - we want others to think highly of us.

And so being truly humble is difficult. It has to start deep within the heart and mind. Then manifested in daily words and behaviours.

"For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned." Romans 12.3 ESV

"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2.3-4 ESV
