God never promised an easy life when we decided to follow him. When we go where God sends us, there is no guarantee we will not face difficulties.

I like the tune of the song "Another in the Fire" by Chris Davenport and Joel Houston. It also has wonderful lyrics and the closing chorus goes like this.

There’ll be another in the fire

There’ll be another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
How good You’ve been to me

So when we are facing difficulties, let us not lose sight that God is there for us.

"And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28.20
