Beware of the easy way out

Every day we face circumstances where we need to make decisions - small decisions, big decisions, and everything in between. How we choose, reflects our priorities.

For many, the priority is on short term worldly gain and therefore choose accordingly. And this happens to be the way that the world make easy for us to choose.

Being selfish is easier than being selfless. The "everyone is doing it" way is easier than the "right" way.

So we need to be vigilant and keep the long view in mind.

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Matthew 16.24 KJV

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." Matthew 7.13-14 ESV
