He does not tire

I have seen uncertainties in my life in the past few weeks (much more than in the past) and have been feeling a bit rattled. I know and am confident that God is always there with me. But like being on a large steady ship in the midst of storm at sea, I know I am safe and at the same time I cannot help feeling unease. I suppose it is natural.

This morning I saw a sticker at the back of someone's car: Psalm 91. I could not recall the content of Psalm 91, but the sticker has a drawing of lyre, so I assumed it was a song of praise. And just now I looked it up and it is not. It is about God being a refuge and fortress.

I am drawn to verse 14-15.

Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honour him.

Yet another reminder of God's promise.

Thank you Lord that you do not tire of reminding us of your love and faithfulness.
