Money and faith
If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? (Luke 16.10-11 NLT)
If I understood this passage correctly, we must be honest with regards to all things money (or "worldly wealth") in order to be entrusted with "the true riches of heaven".
And the passage above is clear, this is the case no matter how small the amount is. People who are dishonest with money, i.e. in order for them to gain more than they are entitled, these people prioritise money over God's commands. In effect, money is at a higher place in their heart than God.
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. (Luke 16.13 NLT)
Let us manage money honestly and wisely.
