Pride is the root cause of many big mistakes, but let us not forget that they all started with small things. Pride manifests itself in small decisions, not just the big ones.

And small decisions have consequences that can eventually snowball in which pride, if unchecked, continues to manifest itself. Thus leading to big mistakes.

Society takes pride in "gold and silver" - wordly wealth and fame, but we as children of God, ought to keep our pride in check. Let us always remember that Godly wisdom and Godly virtue are better than worldly wealth and fame in every small decisions we make, daily.
