The evil spirit would make us believe that we are not worthy of God's love. That is a lie.

God is never far away from us, even when we sin and whatever the sin is. He is always on the lookout for us with arms stretched out to embrace us with mercy and love.

"And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him." (Luke 15.20 NLT)

Let us call on him and confess our sins.
