Lord of this nation

Wherever we live, there is always something to be concerned about how things are in the country or in the city. We may dream of utopia, but right now, we are where we are.

And in most places, born-again Christians are the minority, surrounded by non-practicing "Christians", people of other religions, or atheists. Still, let us be the hand and feet of God to bless the city, the country, where God has placed us, amidst the diverse people around us.

I recall this song from Chris Tomlin, "God of the City".

"
You're the God of this city
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You are

You're the light in this darkness
You're the hope to the hopeless
You're the peace to the restless
You are

There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
"
