Prayer produces results, but the timing is unknown.

God may answer prayers quickly, but he may take his time for reasons that only he knows. In between, I may forget completely what I asked in my prayer. Until the answer arrives.

And I thought to myself, "Whoa God, why now?"

This morning I was reminded of the Hillsong song, "Oceans" (written by Crocker, Houston, and Lightelm). The chorus is a prayer. And I sang it as my own prayer to God years ago.

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour
"

As I ponder my life circumstances, I realise this is God's answer to that prayer.

God is placing me in a place where I need to trust him "without border" and to go with him "deeper than my feet could ever wander".

I am confident that God knows what he is doing and that all things work together for good.
