"Buy now pay later" / BNPL financing scheme is a fairly popular scheme to acquire something that we do not have money to pay for. From personal finance perspective, I can see the use and abuse for it. But this is not a personal finance blog. Instead BNPL is an analogy.

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” (Isaiah 55.1 NIVUK)

Accepting Jesus as my personal saviour is free; I do not have to be a good person to receive salvation. I come just as I am, a sinner, and by his grace, God takes me in.

Once I am saved, my faith in Jesus transforms me and helps me abandon my old ways to live according to God's will. This often "costs" me, but God gives me peace and joy amidst all.
