It is very difficult to be thankful when someone treats me bad or so I thought. I can only assume, since I cannot see his / her true motive. "Love your enemies" (Matthew 5.44) is a difficult command.

But I learned firsthand that God indeed could intend it all for good. I could not see it at the time and even now, I have to remind myself to look at it from God's perspective. To move forward "by faith, not by sight".

Lord, help me to walk by faith and to always give thanks to you.
