When animals and plants die
Humans care a lot about their pets, their gardens, and their public parks. I think God does as well.
Where do animals go when they die? Do they have after-life?
Some theologian may argue that there are references to animals in heaven in the Bible. But that is not the subject of the question.
Do we get to see our same pets again after we die? If yes, where? In heaven? What about those who go to hell? We can't ask pets to go to hell to accompany their owners, can we?
What about non-pets? The birds, wild animals, or even animals that were killed as our food?
And plants? Most of us probably think they have no consciousness, but they are still living creation of God. Do they just vanish into thin air when they die?
I cannot recall any definitive answer in the Bible for these questions. I guess I will discover the answer when I die.
