Force majeure
I learned from young age to "be prepared". I try to plan for a lot of things. And I pray that my plan is aligned with God's plan.
But no matter how much I prepare, there is always a risk that something beyond my control can occur and throw the plan off course.
I worry about such risk exactly because it can wreak havoc.
But a force majeure can only happen when it is allowed by God. So if God allows it, then it is within his plan. And his plan is always for good.
So then, if force majeure happens, God allows it as part of his plan. And if no force majeure, then that is exactly what I hope for.
Either way is good. Right?
"What is the price of two sparrows — one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows."
(Matthew 10.29-31 NLT)
