I see many Christians think lightly on the topic of their own hypocrisy. They have all kinds of excuses to justify themselves.

The thing is, this is a topic that Jesus takes seriously. And he thinks hypocrites are as bad as an "evil servant" - deserving a place where "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth".

"But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites.

In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

help me to acknowledge and "get rid of the log in my own eye".
