You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.

The entirety of my faith rests in whether I believe "the Lord would do what he said".

If I do not, then all my religious activities are of no eternal consequence - they will not unite me with Jesus in heaven when I die.

This also rests on another belief, whether or not I believe there is heaven.

On both counts: I believe.
