I cringe whenever I watch a film with socially awkward character doing socially awkward things. Other people may not cringe at all and just be entertained by the film. A few may even think that as not being socially awkward.

Different people have different cultural background, upbringing, and social norms. Socially awkward or not is a matter of perception and expectation.

Let's say you give something to an older and highly respected person with your left hand. Many of you think this is a normal thing. But in some cultures, this is socially awkward, because it is considered rude.

I wonder how many times the Holy Spirit cringe at me on any given day. I possibly did not intend to do the wrong thing, but from his perspective?

Cringeworthy.

I need to tune my sensitivity toward the Holy Spirit and behave according to what pleases Jesus. At all times.
