Once when John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, some people came to Jesus and asked, “Why don’t your disciples fast like John’s disciples and the Pharisees do?” (Mark 2.18 NLT)

When we behave differently from others (Christians or non-Christians), we may eventually get the same question. Why do we behave differently?

So I need to understand the real reason for my actions and behaviours. It is highly unlikely I can please everyone all the time. I need to believe my reason.

The reason needs to be grounded in the Bible and the motive needs to be clearly directed toward God. And then I need to do it in Christ-like manner.
