"The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend." (Exodus 33.11 NIV)

Do I talk to the Lord "as one speaks to a friend"?

Once in a while.

And does he talk to me "as one speaks to a friend"?

This is a bit tricky. Would I sound delusional, if I say "once in a while"?

Personal relationship with the Lord is a very subjective topic. How I approach him is different from how others approach him. He does not mandate every believer one way or the other. He only mandates faith.

Faith that he is my God and my King. Faith that he is my Father in heaven.

And if I am comfortable to approach him as "a friend", he is always there for me as a friend, too.
