Feeling "entitled" for something, but not getting it can lead to disappointment. As a Christian, I ought to be careful not to assume too much.

Yes, the Bible says "ask" and "pray".

But if it is not God's will, then I will not get it.

Even if I am entitled for it, the timing might be wrong for me to get it. God knows what is best.

But even if I am not entitled for something, I can ask for it. Again, if it is God's will, then I can get it.

The important thing is to have a humble heart and trust God. I am his child. I can humbly ask him what is in my heart.
