It is good to be praying for others - for God to bless them. And sometimes, God calls us to be the hands and feet for him to bless others.

Not just to pray for them. But to be the channel of blessing to fulfill the prayer.

Not just to pray that God provides for them. But to provide for them out of our own bank accounts. Which, we should not forget, belongs to God.

"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." (James 1.27 NLT)

The world focuses on self-interest. But we ought to focus on God's will.
