In explaining about the good shepherd in John 10.7-18 (GNB), Jesus mentioned three times that the good shepherd is willing to die for the sheep. Three times. So that is an important attribute.

I think this is something for leaders to take note. When leading, do what is good for the people you lead. Whether you are leading in a Christian context, or not.

This is the mark of a good Christian leader.
