Do not just ask God to heal and cleanse. Ask him also to break what does not please him. It might be painful when he does that. But some bad things that have encrusted cannot be cleansed without breaking them.

The goal is to be clean and set apart for his use. Not just the things I have / own. But also "everything I am" - who I am - is for his use.

Lord,
make me be who you want me to be
so everything I am may please you.
