"I cannot talk with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me, but the world must know that I love the Father; that is why I do everything as he commands me."

(John 14.30-31 GNB)

Here Jesus implied that he is not “the ruler of this world” and this “ruler” has no power over Jesus. Regardless, Jesus wants the world to know that he loves the Father.

How do I behave on daily basis?

Do I succumb to “the ruler of this world” or do I “do everything as he commands me”?

Do I consciously behave such that the world knows that I love the Father? Can the world see through my words and actions that I love the Father?

Help me show the world
that I indeed love you.
