No longer have any excuse
Knowing Jesus and his commands makes me accountable in my response to him.
"They would not have been guilty of sin if I had not come and spoken to them; as it is, they no longer have any excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also. They would not have been guilty of sin if I had not done among them the things that no one else ever did; as it is, they have seen what I did, and they hate both me and my Father."
(John 15.22-24 GNB)
Being a Christian, the hardest part is not letting up on obedience. To obey once in a while (usually on easy or convenient matters) is manageable. But to always obey, no matter what, is very hard.
"Those who do not do the good they know they should do are guilty of sin." (James 4.17 GNB)
Lord,
help me not to look for excuses
and to be faithful to you.
