It is good when I accept that all I need is Christ, but I need to also learn to live without the rest.

When I get so accustomed to extraneous stuffs that I do not need, I become more and more dependent on them. They cloud my judgement. It is as if I need them, but I do not. All I need is Christ.

It is good if God has blessed me with these extras, but I need to recognise them as stuffs I do not need and learn to live without them. Reducing stuffs I do not need, in return, helps reduce distractions from recognising that all I need is Christ.
