Next to where I sit, there is a tiny fish pond. There are a few plants in it. They had been thriving and happy in there.

In the last few hectic days, I had not paid attention to them, but just now I noticed that one of them is no longer healthy. All but one leaf had completely dried out.

This plant's root has always been submerged; water is never lacking. And yet it is drying!

Some people can be like that. Surrounded by God's grace and love, but spiritually they are drying.

Lord,
help me be spiritually healthy
and remain filled with your love towards others
in whatever circumstances.
