What we perceive as the visible moon and its phases is the interplay among the earth, the sun, and the moon itself.

The moon is not a light source; it reflects the sun's light. The moon looks different (i.e. the moon phase) not because the sun changes. The sun does not change its brightness nor location, but the moon and the earth do.

In my daily life, the people around me is like an observer on earth and I am like the moon. God is like the sun and he does not change. But what other people perceive about God may change depending on my attitude, words, behaviours, and actions.
