Working hard to make a lot of money, thinking it can bring happiness, can lead to unhappiness. This has been proven by many wealthy people.

Money is a tool. When it becomes a goal, then it becomes the master of my life.

As a tool, money is essential in many things that I need to do to serve out my purpose in Christ. But to live in "the simplicity that is in Christ", I need to subjugate money to Christ' purpose, not my purpose.
