No longer I
"I have been put to death with Christ on his cross, so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me."
(Galatians 2.19-20 GNB)
This concept is something that get missed by many Christians: "it is no longer I".
If Christ lives in me, then it is no longer what I want that is important. No longer what I deserve that I fight for. No longer what is good for me that motivates me. It is not about me.
Do not hold on to "me" and "I". It is about Christ and only Christ.
It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me.
