God chose me to be his own and for his own purpose. Life feels more peaceful when I am aware of this and consciously accept this in every part of my life. When I surrender everything to God, Christ is enough.

Insisting on my own desire leads to restlessness and insecurity, which leads to various kinds of negative pursuits.

My daily life is a constant tug of war between the two.

Lord,
help me daily and in everything
to surrender to you
