I cannot love like Christ without faith in him. Because Christ' love is unselfish.

"Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail."

I cannot, out of my own power, love like that. Only with faith that Christ loves me like that and that he has infinite amount of it to give me, can I even begin to love like he loves.

In faith, I know that I lack nothing when I love like he loves. I already have it abundantly overflowing. Whenever I love like he loves, he resupplies me. On and on and on.
