I learned a new abbreviation yesterday. KYAL: know you are loved. ❤️ It was a different context altogether, but it reminded me of one truth that I believe.

God, the creator and ruler of the universe, knows you and me by name. He loves you and me unconditionally while we are still sinners. You and I do not need to be anybody else for God to love us.

Other people love us if or when we are such and such. God loves us just as we are where we are.

"God has shown us how much he loves us — it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!" (Romans 5.8 GNB)
