Learn what pleases the Lord
"Try to learn what pleases the Lord. ... try to find out what the Lord wants you to do." (Ephesians 5.10,17 GNB)
I should not be ignorant of God's will and what pleases him. I should not live my life chasing after my own desires. It is not good for me.
And discovering God's will is not about fitting what I want into God's will. I should not mistake my desires as God's will. It is never about what I want, but what God wants and what pleases him.
What pleases him is good.
