"Remember that you and your slaves belong to the same Master in heaven, who judges everyone by the same standard." (Ephesians 6.9 GNB)

Something that saddened me is to observe people who do bad things because they think they are rich and, vice versa, people who do bad things because they think they are poor. They justify themselves because they think their wealth or their poverty makes it okay to do bad things. But it does not.

God is not concerned with material wealth. He applies the same standard regardless I am rich or I am poor. What is okay for me to do does not depend on anything but God's standard.

I am to obey the Spirit at all times in all circumstances.
