"Tychicus, our dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord's work, will give you all the news about me, so that you may know how I am getting on. That is why I am sending him to you — to tell you how all of us are getting on, and to encourage you."

I think it is important for Christian ministries to communicate well and periodically what they do and the impacts the ministries make. Never to seek glory - for all glory belongs to Christ.

But to let fellow Christians know how the ministries are getting on and to encourage other believers.

To stimulate others to pray for God's will in their lives. To build their faith. To inspire them to help a ministry or to join one.

Reading, listening to, or watching the news media can be depressing. But news about Christ's glorious work encourages our faith.

To Christ be all glory.
