"There are many whose lives make them enemies of Christ's death on the cross. They are going to end up in hell, because their god is their bodily desires. They are proud of what they should be ashamed of, and they think only of things that belong to this world."

"Mind over matter" is easier said than done. The mind influences the body greatly and, vice versa, the body also influences the mind greatly. On my own strength, it is an uphill battle to overcome bodily desires and desires of things that belong to this world. I need the help of God's Spirit.

Even so, it is still a constant battle, for the world temps me all the time. It never closes shop. I must pray and align my will with God without ceasing.
