"Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus."

This verse is a reminder to do the exact opposite of the actual situation. I am in the exact place where I worry. I am thankful for all that I have and all that I am, but I am not getting what I desperately ask God.

In the process, God has comforted me, although he has not taken away my source of worry, i.e. my negative circumstance.

The process has not resolved itself and I want it to be resolved soon. It is in my nature to worry for things to come out to my specification. And God is teaching a hard lesson that I must defer to his specification and his timing.

God I am thankful, but maybe please hurry a bit.
