Crystallised

Faith is very individual. You and I may be using the exact same Bible, but the outcome can be different.

We each have coloured "glasses" when we read the Bible - coloured by our past experiences and histories and biases. This then creates unique perspectives which then get crystallised over time by further experiences. Experiences with God and experiences with others - some good and some bad. The longer we have been as believers, the more crystallised the faith.

I need to take proactive measures to strengthen the right understanding of the Bible and my relationship with God, so my faith crystallise in a way that pleases God.

This needs to be a daily awareness. I need to be sensitive to the Spirit's guidance and change what needs to change.
