A different plan (2)
Waiting to discover the new plan from God is the most difficult part for me. Assuming God meant for a new plan.
The second most difficult, if not equally difficult, is recognising the new plan. This requires sensitivity to God's voice. My thoughts are noisy - they always crowd my mind and fill my mind with wishes and plans to accomplish those wishes. They crowd out God's voice.
As always and especially now in my current predicament, I need to quiet my thoughts and calm my soul. I need to empty my self from my wishes and truly listen to God's voice in the scriptures and prayers.
Lord,
please help me discern your voice.
