Measuring impact
To overgeneralise a bit, the world is conditioned to measure impact in almost every aspect. Take “social media” as one example. How many “likes, views, and followers”? For websites, number of visits from real users, etc.
At this point, I do not know the impact of my writing, if I measure impact like above. And this is intentional. I do not track any metric.
I want to have impact, but I fear worldly metric may distract me from focusing on Godly impact. Thus the deliberate decision.
Having said that, I do not fully know the Godly impact, either.
I feel the impact for me. And I have faith God has a purpose that is beyond what I can see or comprehend for now. I do not need worldly metric to tell me that.
