"The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts."

How I make decisions will determine how my life will come about, directly and indirectly. Other people's decisions can also change my life, but ultimately I have the accountability of my own decisions in how I respond to external factors that come into my life.

I have decades of history to look back and observe the proofs: Decisions guided by Christ's peace has always turned out better for me than otherwise. I am thankful for that.

And in recent years, I hope I am improving, bit by bit, my understanding of the richness of Christ's message. And I am thankful for that.

I also believe being thankful and having insight into Christ's message brings peace. The three of them are related: thankful heart, the richness of Christ's message, and Christ's peace.

Lord, please help my heart
to always be thankful,
to have the richness of Christ's message live in my heart, and
to have Christ's peace be my guide
