Gratitude (3)
“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” (1 Timothy 1.15 GNB)
“People who are well do not need a doctor, but only those who are sick. I have not come to call respectable people, but outcasts.” (Mark 2.17 GNB)
If I claim I am well and refuse the doctor to treat me, then I am missing out. Only the doctor can correctly evaluate if I am or am not well.
If I refuse, I will never interact with and experience the doctor. He is loving.
If I refuse, I will not know my condition. And everybody is unwell and needs the doctor, despite what she / he thinks.
If I refuse, I will not know the true meaning of gratitude.
Those who think they are not sinners, will not be saved, although they are indeed sinners.
Lord, I am a sinner
I am grateful
You came to the world to save the likes of me
