Faith rewards with joy and peace. But it is tempting to look for worldly way - the easy way or the quick reward. It is at times hard to choose the Christlike way over the worldly way. But I have to remind myself that anything that does not please the Lord will not amount to good.

"The Spirit says clearly that some people will abandon the faith in later times; they will obey lying spirits and follow the teachings of demons." (1 Timothy 4.1 GNB)

So self, be steadfast in keeping the faith. The Lord is steadfast in his love. Focus on him and do not be swayed by what the world says.
