“In a large house there are dishes and bowls of all kinds: some are made of silver and gold, others of wood and clay; some are for special occasions, others for ordinary use.

If anyone makes himself or herself clean from all those evil things, they will be used for special purposes, because they are dedicated and useful to their Master, ready to be used for every good deed.”

Dirty dishes pile up quickly. It is better to wash them immediately after they are used. Some items are bound to be used all the time and others depending on the food, the volume, and the occasion.

Usually which items will be needed is not always known up front. God knows, but I don’t.

I want to always ready myself for his use. So when God wants to use me for something, I am “good to go”.
