“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living, so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed.”

Do not misuse Scripture for personal gain. Scripture is for right living and doing good deeds.

“Good deeds” sometimes can be misinterpreted - good for whom? Fundamental beliefs differ, but I think it is better for me to view Scripture from Jesus’ point of view. What did he do in similar situation? Or what would Jesus do?

The answer is not always available in black and white, but that is a good starting point. The end goal being to do good for everyone involved. And to be like Jesus, for the glory of God.
