“He leads the humble in the right way and teaches them his will. With faithfulness and love he leads all who keep his covenant and obey his commands.”

God leads those who are humble and obedient.

Conversely, those who are not humble and not obedient do not want to be led by God. They think their own way is better than God’s. They think they can do whatever they decide to do.

The devil wants me to believe that I can devise my own way which is better than God’s way and that I can do whatever I want. But he is a deceiver.

I can do nothing outside of God’s grace.
