Every born again Christian is called for something - different for each person, but called nonetheless.

Heeding the call does not automatically yield material blessing. Material blessing is highly coveted by the world, but that is not the point of God's call. For a few people, heeding the call may even mean less potential for material possessions. I knew of a successful professional who left his job and became a missionary with much less financial income.

Not every one is called in such a way. But every one is called.

Despite whatever discomfort or pain or challenge faced in heeding the call, God is by my side and gives me peace. The joy lies in heeding the call - experiencing God and having better relationship with him.
