Yesterday I met a group of out-of-town friends who were called into town because they needed to be briefed about their future. A layoff is coming. They did not expect this. Thankfully, they will get good severance package.

This morning I ran my weekend 10K and almost tripped during my last K. I was okay; I didn’t fall. After that in the shower I slipped and fell. I did not expect that. Thankfully, I didn’t injure anything.

That is life. From one day to another things can go “wrong” in our eyes, but it might actually be part of God’s plan. I need to take care of my health spiritually, mentally, and physically. And face whatever comes my way, one day at a time.
